Winter Adventure

Join a naturalist guide to explore the area’s scenic beauty and abundant wildlife. Search for, and learn about, moose, elk, bald eagles, coyote, wolves, mule deer and more. Narration & optics provided. After lunch, spend an afternoon enjoying Snow King Mountain activities (think tubing park and a mountain coaster) and follow it up with a horse-drawn sleigh ride to a herd of 1,800 elk followed by a hearty dinner of juicy T-bone steak (or grilled chicken) with all the fixings at a local working ranch.

Dinner: T-bone steak or grilled chicken, baked potato, corn, salad and dessert

Wear comfortable winter clothing for brief potential outdoor wildlife viewing and bring adequate winter clothing for outdoor winter activities to put on as if you are skiing to put on for afternoon activities

What to Wear

Weather in the mountains can be hot during the day and cool very quickly in the evening. Be sure to check the weather prior to your trip and bring weather-appropriate clothing. This may include rain jacket, warm outer layers, durable footwear, hat & gloves, and sunglasses.


Many of our trips include premium wines and/or craft beers. You must be 21+ and have your photo ID with you to consume alcohol.
